If you're a Pinterest connoisseur like myself, I'm sure you've seen walls adorned with those gold polka dots a million times. Yes it's been done many times - but that doesn't mean I still don't love it! I first had the idea to use this wall decor option in my very own first apartment 4 years ago.
This isn't the best picture (I wasn't in the whole blogging mindset 4 years ago), but you get the gist. There are tons of sites out there now where you can buy these stickers (or if you'd like, you can even make your own!). For this wall behind my coral desk, I decided to do a trickle-down effect across the whole wall - lots up top and slowly getting more sparse as you go down the wall. This is so easy guys - you stick them where you feel works, take a step back and adjust as needed until you feel it's complete. Done!
I loved it so much in my apartment, I decided to recreate it in a different manner in my townhouse! I had this huge, empty wall behind my (again) coral desk that needed SOMETHING to fill it up without being too much.
It took me awhile (aka 2.5 years) to figure out I wanted to do something similar to what I had done before behind this desk. I've been so uninspired in this bare office, it was finally time to do something! I wanted to make it a bit different, so this time I decided to use the same concept but coming from the corner instead of the top of the wall. This took me about 15 minutes total - seriously so easy yet so cute! I finally feel like I have a room where I feel inspired - great news for both me AND you!
Let me know what you guys think in the comments below! Stay tuned for more posts to come on this awesome coral desk and how I made the finishing touches to this wall and the rest of the room.
